Garbajosa is usually found on the wing or in the centre nowadays, but he is equally as effective at full-back and it will be interesting to see where Bernard Laporte decides to play the talented son of Robert Garbajosa.
As Robert lived and breathed Toulouse rugby club, it was no surprise to see a young Xavier make his debut for the French outfit at the tender age of 19.
He made rapid progress through the ranks and made his international debut in March 1998 against Ireland.
Garbajosa has blossomed into a fine player but he is always keen to learn and, by his own admission, he has tried to mould his game around that of Emile N'Tamack and Thomas Castaignede.
