ERIC MILLER

Born: 23.09.75
Height: 6ft 3in
Weight: 16st 3lb
Position: Flanker/Number Eight
Club: Leinster
Caps: 35
Points: 15

One of the experienced heads in the Ireland pack, Miller burst to the attention of scouts everywhere while at Loughborough University.

A string of rave reviews earnt him a move to Leicester in 1995 and it was only two years before he was a part of the Ireland senior squad, making his debut against Italy.

His quick breaks from the back of the scrum and his no-nonsense tackling earned him a call-up to the Lions squad in 1997 which toured South Africa but various injuries have played havoc with him ever since and he has been limited to 35 appearances for Ireland in his seven-year international career.
