Like brother Simon, also a member of the World Cup squad, Guy Easterby was born in Harrogate, England and was educated at Ampleforth College.
He played for Harrogate until 1996, when he moved to Rotherham - his current club - and was an Ireland 'A' player in 1998 and 1999.
He finally made his senior debut in the summer of 2001, when he played in the touring match against the United States, and has gone on to win 19 caps.
Returned to England - to Rotherham - in the summer, leaving brother Simon at Llanelli.
