WORLD CUP IRELAND
Picture Corrigan - solid scrummager.

REGGIE CORRIGAN

Born: 19.11.70
Height: 6ft 2in
Weight: 18st 4lb
Position: Prop
Club: Leinster
Caps: 26
Points: 0

Corrigan won his first cap in 1997 and was a regular member of the Ireland squad throughout that year's Five Nations championship.

He then lost his place in the squad and did not return until the 1999 summer tour to Australia.

However his outstanding form earned him a place in the World Cup squad that year – but again for the next three years he struggled to hold down a permanent place in the side.

That changed in the autumn of 2002 when he won caps against Romania, Russia, Georgia and Australia.

A solid scrummager, he will desperate to fulfil his potential at the highest level and hope it earns him an extended run in the side.
