FELIPE CONTEPOMI

Born: 20.08.77
Position: Fly-half
Club: Leinster

Contepomi is without question one of the most talented fly-halves in world rugby.

Having burst through the ranks with Argentina - he was a star in their Under-21 side - the former Bristol man made his Test debut against Chile in 1998 and has gone on to score well over 200 points at the top level.

An elusive runner with ball in hand as well as a peerless playmaker, the Leinster No 10 has taken on the mantle of Gonzalo Quesada - top-scorer at the 1999 World Cup - and his half-back partnership with Agustin Pichot is founded on an almost telepathic understanding.

Contepomi's twin brother Manuel is also part of the squad.
