Strong in the scrum and a mobile forward, the Neath-Swansea Ospreys man has won five caps after making his debut two years ago - as a 22-year-old - against Australia.
Injury kept him on the sidelines for the tail-end of the season, but he proved his fitness to Steve Hansen and booked his place in the squad.
