Hailing from Sydney, Mower qualifies for Scotland through a Glaswegian maternal grandfather.
After a lengthy spell in the A side the big flanker has finally begun to nail down a permament place in the senior XV this season, winning nine of his 13 caps this season.
A move to Borders on loan from Newcastle last season helped him book his spot on the flight Down Under and with Budge Pountney missing the tournament, flanker Mower will look to grasp the opportunity with both hands.
