Youngster Douglas fought off injury and the challenge of Allan Jacobsen to book the final props place in the squad
Having picked up a leg problem in the recent clash with Wales, Douglas must have feared for his place when Edinburgh man Jacobsen was drafted in.
But it is the Borders star - who has represented the Scots at every level from Under-16s upwards - who does travel.
Surprisingly nimble for a prop, the former Harlequins man is a live danger with ball in hand and is no slouch defensively.
