WORLD CUP SCOTLAND
Picture Danielli - powerful wing.

SIMON DANIELLI

Born: 08.09.79
Height: 6ft 4in
Weight: 16st
Position: Wing
Club: Bath
Caps: 2
Points: 5

Danielli's international career is very much in its infancy, but he has already shown his talent at the top level.

A try on debut in the victory over Italy in the lead-up to the World Cup earned him his place in the Scotland squad and the very least the tournament will give him is experience of a major tournament.

He played for England at Under-18 and Under-21 levels but turned his back on opt for Scotland, who called him into their squad after a stunning season for Bath.

Eight tries were enough to make him their top tryscorer and pretty much book his place in the World Cup squad.

A pacy, powerful wing, if Danielli can continue his form of last season, Scotland will reap the benefits.
