WORLD CUP SCOTLAND
Picture Bulloch - world-class hooker.

GORDON BULLOCH

Born: 26.03.75
Height: 5ft 11in
Weight: 15st 2lb
Position: Hooker
Club: Glasgow
Caps: 54
Points: 20

Bulloch is a fierce competitor and comes from proven stock in the rugby world - with father Jim and brother Alan also well-known figures in the game.

Gordon, the senior of the siblings by two years, has long been a part of the international set-up – picking up 54 caps – and even forced his way into a World XV of 1999 after playing a crucial role in Scotland's Five Nations success that year.

Having won his first full cap in the match against South Africa in 1997, he has been touted as a future permanent Scotland captain and a sign of how highly he is rated came when he replaced Phil Greening on the Lions tour Down Under.

The accolades have kept on coming, though, and when he played his 53rd international earlier this year he became Scotland's most-capped hooker.

Bulloch has all the attributes to be a world-class No 2.
