A right-winger who made his Springboks debut in June against Scotland, Willemse has a Test try against New Zealand to his name.
A former U21 and Sevens star, Willemse started out with the Boland Kavalier outfit before making his Super 12 debut for the Cats this season.
Scored twice as the Cats beat the Highlanders 33-21 in a thriller at Ellis Park in March, and just three months later was wearing the green and gold of South Africa.
Came close to grabbing his second Test try as the Springboks went down to defeat to Australia in Brisbane in August, but his 'score' was controversially ruled out for a knock-on.
Likely to play a big part in this World Cup, and should benefit hugely from it.
