Sephaka is a former U19, U21, U23 and 'A' team representative with 13 senior caps to his name.

A powerful forward, the 25-year-old made his Test debut in December 2001 against the United States after turning to rugby at the age of 14.

A useful man to have as he is comfortable on either side of the scrum, Sephaka goes by the nickname of 'Kabila', but also earned the tag 'Bags', as he was spending so much time holding the tackle bags rather than playing.

Voted South African Player's Player of the Year in 2002, he ruffled the All Blacks when he came into contact with Kees Meeuws during the Haka in the recent Tri-Nations Test between the two countries.
