Another former rugby league player in the Wallabies ranks, Tuqiri's first season in the 15-a-side game is proving a huge success.
Although he was unable to inspire the NSW Waratahs to any great heights, the Fijian-born winger did well enough to win his first Wallaby cap in the 45-16 win against Ireland in Perth, coming on as a reserve.
He now has seven caps for Australia, and although he has yet to make the same impression as former Brisbane Broncos rugby league team-mate Wendell Sailor there are high hopes for the huge backline star.
Tuqiri did not play competitive sport until he was 15, but before his 23rd birthday had won the NRL title with the Broncos, as well as starring for both Queensland and Australia in representative games.
Despite speculation linking him with a move back to Queensland to play for their Super 12 team the Reds, Tuqiri recently announced he will stay in Sydney for a second year with the Waratahs.
