The USA scrum-half, Dalzell made his Test debut back in 1996 against Uruguay, and remains a key player in the side.
After several successful seasons playing in France for Montferrand, Dalzell is now back in America playing for the OMBAC club in San Diego, and is best remembered for some fine performances in the 1999 World Cup when he kicked well and scored a try against Ireland.
After leaving Montferrand he had a short spell with Bath in the Zurich Premiership, joining compatriot Dan Lyle at the Recreation Ground-based club.
After making the number nine shirt his own in previous years, Dalzell now faces stiff competition from Kimball Kjar, with the two set to battle it out again for a starting spot in the World Cup.
Dalzell is a former Woodley Award winner, given to America's collegiate player of the season.
