Born: 20.10.75
Position: Lock/Flanker
Club: Cardiff

A huge presence in the Namibian pack the 6ft 7in Senekal played in all three of Namibia's 1999 World Cup games, scoring his team's first World Cup try in a game against Fiji.

He started his senior rugby career in South Africa with Technikons, before a move to Boland. He then shone for the Mighty Elephants, being voted their Player of the Season in 2002.

His efforts earned him a move to Europe when he signed a contract with Welsh club Cardiff Blues, who he currently stars for in the lock or occasionally blindside flanker position.

His father also represented Namibia.
