RUPENI CAUCAU

Born: 05.06.80
Position: Wing
Club: Auckland

He may have played only two Test matches for Fiji, but Rupeni Caucaunibuca is known throughout world rugby for his finishing power.

The flying winger has scored five tries in those two outings – one against Argentina on his debut, and four against Chile – and is also a star in Super 12 rugby for the Auckland Blues.

Preferring to go by the shorter version of his name, Rupeni Caucau, he is one of the most dangerous wingers in world rugby, and excelled in Sevens for his country.

Missed the final stages of the 2003 Super 12 competition with a hairline fracture of the leg, but proved he was back to full fitness with that dramatic introduction to Test rugby.
