A 6ft 6in forward, Vaki has played 13 Test matches for Tonga, scoring a try when he ran in from 30 metres to touch down against Scotland in November 2001.
He had made his Test debut shortly before that, in May against Fiji, and uses his height well in line-outs, as well as showing good mobility around the pitch.
Scored nine tries to finish equal top-scorer at the 2002 Commonwealth Games in Manchester.
Vaki plays his club rugby in Italy for Parma.
