One of the few flair players in the Romania team, fly-half Tofan made his Test debut in October 1997 against Belgium and has gone on to amass 206 points in 30 matches.
Although he started his career in Romania with Steaua Bucharest, he now plays in France for Racing CF Metro.
As well as being talented with ball in hand, Tofan is also a fine goal-kicker and notched up 32 points in the 67-7 victory over Spain that sent the Oaks to the World Cup.
