JOE ROKOCOKO

Born: 06.06.83
Height: 6ft 2in
Weight: 16st 4lb
Position: Wing
Club: Auckland
Caps: 7
Points: 55

This Fijian-born flyer has made an immediate impact on world rugby, scoring 11 tries in his first seven Test matches.

He moved to New Zealand at the age of five, and after starring in the schoolboys team represented the country at U16, U19 and U21 level, helping the U19s to victory in the Junior World Cup in Chile in 2001.

He only made his international debut this year – in the loss against England – but is already one of the first names on coach John Mitchell's team-sheet.

With blistering speed – he can cover 40m in just 4.66sec - and an uncanny knack of finding the try-line, Rokocoko is a genuine star who could well set this World Cup alight.

He is a cousin of former All Black winger Joeli Vidiri, who played international rugby for both Fiji and New Zealand.
