Parker was brought to Wales by previous national coach Graham Henry and after four years with Pontypridd, the Celtic Warrior has emerged as a Dragon of great promise.
A broken arm put paid to his hopes of his establishing himself last year but form and fitness now seem to be in the coach's favour.
