8 min: Re-starts game after Australian try.
12 min: Australia concede penalty five metres inside their own half and Wilkinson comfortably clears the upright to make it 5-3.
19 min: Penalty awarded to England after Larkham tackles Ben Cohen off the ball. Wilkinson makes it two kicks from two to put England 6-5 ahead.
23 min: Attempted long-range drop goal goes wide of the left-hand upright.
24 min: Matt Giteau drops the ball just metres from his own line, after tackle by Wilkinson. However, the England fly-half injured his shoulder in the challenge but, after a minute of treatment, was fit to continue.
28 min: Penalty to England after flankers broke early from scrum. Wilkinson slots his third successive kick from narrow angle to give England 9-5 lead.
38 min: Great break from England line-out eventually saw Dallaglio burst forward before off-loading to Wilkinson inside him. He put Jason Robinson clear outside
him to his left and he dives in to touch down. Wilkinson missed kick from wide left but England still led 14-5.
55 min: High kick behind Australia bounces the wrong way and allows them to take a 22 drop-out.
65 min: Makes crucial tackle in midfield as Larkham broke through the England line.
72 min: Hooks attempted drop-kick wide.
76 min: Finds important touch from deep in England territory.
81 min: Kicks off first period of extra-time.
82 min: 47m penalty just creeps over the bar to give England a 17-14 lead.
90 min: Attempted drop goal sails wide.
100 min: Wilkinson right-footed drop-goal with 20 seconds remaining puts England in front for the last time and England win the World Cup 20-17.
