 SIX NATIONS ENGLAND
Picture Cohen - powerful runner.

Ben Cohen

Born: 14.09.78
Height: 6ft 1in
Weight: 15st 10lb
Position: Wing
Club: Northampton
Caps: 39
Points: 140

The Northampton winger may not be the fastest player around, but his power makes him unstoppable at times.

Except against the smaller nations, England's World Cup tactics were not conducive to spreading the ball wide, and as such attacking opportunities for the three-quarters were limited.

This may be one explanation for the hitherto prolific Cohen (23 tries in 29 pre-World Cup matches) only touching down twice, both against Georgia in the opening game.

However, for sheer size and strength, Cohen has the capacity to terrorise the backlines of the other five nations, and his tries against Wales underlined his reputation for being in the right place at the right time.

His build-up to the clash with Wales was not ideal - he was reprimanded by the RFU after one of his tickets found its way into the hands of an unofficial agency - but he retains Sir Clive Woodward's full confidence.
