How to get there:
Scheduled flights land at Lenoardo Da Vinci airport (Fiumicino)and a shuttle train service is on offer to central Rome station (Stazione Termini). Traffic in the area is very slow and you are recommended to take the Metro Line to Flaminio Station which is a 1km walk from the stadium which is accessed by travelling along Via Flaminia.
Interesting Fact:
Although the stadium was originally built for the 1960 Olympic Games it has since been refurbished and hosted Equestrian World Games in 1998.
