ROBIN McBRYDE
One of the strongest players in the game, McBryde has been one of the best hookers on the Welsh scene for many years.
However he had to wait patiently for the chance to establish himself in the side which he eventually did in the 2001 Six Nations championship.
McBryde made his international debut back in 1994 and was a member of the British And Irish Lions Tour of Australia.
He had a sustained duel with Garin Jenkins for the Welsh jersey but his considerable physical strength and ability to disrupt the opposition scrum meant it was one he was able to win.
