 SIX NATIONS ANALYSIS
Picture O'Gara - back to form.

RONAN O'GARA

O'Gara could only make a limited impact in the 2002 Six Nations championship as David Humphreys claimed the number ten jersey - but all the signs are that will change in 2003.

O'Gara was backed for the Autumn internations and his impressive club form means he is ahead in the race at present.

He shot onto the European stage in the 2000 Heineken Cup as he inspired Munster to the final - and the Irish selectors sat up and took notice.

A member of the British And Irish Lions tour of Australia, O'Gara was frustrated by injuries and a loss of form last summer - now he is back firing on all cylinders.

A solid goalkicker and a shrewd playmaker, it is great to see him back where he belongs - in Ireland's number ten jersey.
