Welsh Premiership leaders Neath romped home with nine tries against
bottom-of-the-table Caerphilly after leading 39-0 at half-time.
Centre Dave Tiueti scored two of the tries as Caerphilly were run off their
feet until scoring two tries in the last six minutes through Sione Mone
Tuipulotu.
Neath ran up a mammoth total thanks to further tries from Steve Tandy, James
Storey, Shane Williams, Gareth Morris, Adrian Durston, Kevan James and Sean
Marsden.
With Wales hit by front-row injury problems before next Saturday's RBS 6
Nations match against Ireland big interest centred on both front-rowers.
Caerphilly, at Wales' request, played prop Martyn Madden to prove he had
recovered from a shoulder injury. Madden, who is on Llanelli's books, played the
first 72 minutes.
Neath included 19-year-old hooker Huw Bennett, who is with Swansea and was in
Wales's squad at last year's World Under-19 Cup in Italy.
Bennett, who has been out 11 months after a shoulder operation and ligament
injuries, played for the first 75 minutes.
