Scottish international winger Kenny Logan returned from injury to score two
tries for bottom of the Zurich Premiership side Wasps as they routed Leeds at
Loftus road.
Alex King was man of the match, having made six conversions and kicking four
penalties and a drop goal.
Wasps went ahead in the seventh minute after they made a powerful attack down
the right, winger Shane Roiser caught a loose ball behind his head and ran on to
touch down, the conversion being made by fly-half King.
As the home side continued to pile on the pressure, centre Fraser Waters broke
through an unsuspecting Leeds defence to place the ball over in the 14th minute,
with King converting for a second time.
Four minutes later hooker Phil Greening picked up a pass to score a try,
converted once again by King.
A penalty chance in the 22nd minutes had King successfully kicking from 26
metres.
Two minutes later King scored a drop goal from 27 metres out.
And one minute later Logan caught a flying ball to dash down to score a try,
with King converting.
Settling into a pattern Logan got to a King pass in the 32nd minute to score a
try, easily converted by King.
An incident which led to Tykes centre Graham Mackay being sin-binned resulted
in King kicking another successful penalty in the 39th minute, putting the
half-time score at 44-0.
The Tykes made several changes at half-time but that did not stop Wasps'
continued surge, with King kicking a penalty in the 53rd minute.
Fly-half Daniel Parks sneaked through with a try to put Leeds on the
scoresheet two minutes later, before making the conversion himself.
Then Wasps found themselves down to 14 men with lock Ian Jones sin-binned.
Stealing through the home defence Eddie Jones scored a try, converted by
Parks.
King extended the lead with a penalty kick and with his second try Waters
increased the lead, King again converting.
Stuart Abbott wrapped it up with 78th minute try which King also converted.
