Bath's latest South African recruit - Springboks back-row forward Luke Watson - is set to make his debut against Ospreys in the LV= Cup on Saturday.
Watson, Western Province captain when they lost to the British and Irish Lions earlier this year, follows the likes of Butch James and Michael Claassens to Bath.
He has been named among the substitutes, but Bath head coach Steve Meehan said: "He will get a decent bit of game time so we can see what he has got to offer."
Bath are without suspended lock Danny Grewcock and injured prop David Barnes, while New Zealander Jerry Collins leads an Ospreys side minus 12 internationals.
The Scarlets, encouraged by a 15-15 draw against Harlequins last weekend, restore skipper David Lyons to their line-up at home against Worcester, and there is also a start for exciting full-back prospect Daniel Evans.
"Regardless of a new-look team last Sunday, there was no drop in the quality or standards that we have set," said Scarlets boss Nigel Davies.
"We are looking to build on last week, and have once again given opportunities to some of the hungry, young talent we have pushing for first team places."
Hooker Chris Fortey marks his 100th Worcester appearance by captaining the Warriors, with centre Dale Rasmussen and lock Graham Kitchener both starting after recovering from injury.
"Chris is a hugely-respected member of the squad, and he has grown over the last few years into a superb leader and a great ambassador for the club," said Worcester rugby director Mike Ruddock.
The Scarlets' Magners League colleagues Newport Gwent Dragons opened their LV= Cup campaign with an impressive victory over a strong Sale Sharks side.
But in order to preserve their 100% record, they must now achieve what no Welsh team has done for 11 years - beat Leicester at Welford Road.
And the Dragons will encounter a strong Tigers side skippered by Ben Kay, whose fellow England internationals Jordan Crane and George Chuter also start, as does Australian wing recruit Lote Tuqiri.
England back Toby Flood, meanwhile, is on the bench for potentially his first appearance since suffering a ruptured Achilles' tendon six months ago.
"The crowd at Leicester demand success, and it will be packed, even with England playing at the same time," said Dragons head coach Paul Turner.
"But we have a feelgood factor here because Sale pulled one of their better sides out of the hat last week, and to beat them was great.
"It's another opportunity for our younger players who haven't had a start, and if we get something at Leicester it will really hold us in good stead."
Northampton and Saracens, respective winners against the Ospreys and Bath in their Anglo-Welsh openers, meet at Franklin's Gardens on Saturday, where Saracens hand debuts to prop Kasiano Lealamanua and lock George Kruis.
Sunday's action sees Anglo-Welsh title holders Cardiff Blues - winners at Gloucester five days ago - hosting London Irish, while Gloucester visit Wasps and Newcastle entertain Harlequins.
