Michael Dobson stunned former club Wigan with four tries as Hull KR came from behind to end their six-match engage Super League losing streak in style.

Wigan twice led through George Carmont tries in the first half at Craven Park and stretched further ahead when Pat Richards touched down after the break.

Yet Rovers were never out of contention and took a firm grip on the game as Dobson turned on the style.

The injury-hit hosts welcomed back Makali Aizue and Jason Netherton but were forced to start with Daniel Fitzhenry at full-back.

Despite this, they took the lead in the fourth minute after Jake Webster had been held short and Kirk Netherton shot over from acting half for an unconverted try.

Trent Barrett then got Joel Tomkins away and the youngster went 40 metres to level the scores in the corner. Richards' conversion attempt drifted just wide of the left upright.

In the 23rd minute, the Warriors increased their lead. Thomas Leuluai found Carmont, who touched down with Richards converting the extras.

Three minutes later, Rovers pulled themselves straight back.

Ben Fisher was halted short and from the play which followed Dobson forced his way over the line to score. Paul Cooke's conversion levelled the scores at 10-10.

Gareth Hock broke away in the 33rd minute following another penalty and sent in Carmont for his second try, with Richards again adding the extras to put the Warriors 16-10 ahead at the break.

From the restart, some weak tackling allowed Sean O'Loughlin to send in Richards from just inside the Robins' half and the full-back converted his own score.

Seven minutes after the break, Dobson reached out an arm to score his second try, which Cooke converted, before Rovers winger Jon Steel beat three men in the corner and Cooke's conversion levelled the scores.

Dobson completed his hat-trick shortly before the hour-mark with a kick through on the last tackle and Cooke's conversion put Rovers back into the lead for the first time since the fourth minute.

Dobson then added a drop goal in the 64th minute before bagging a fourth try 10 minutes later, with Cooke converting.

Rhys Lovegrove wrapped things up with an unconverted 78th-minute touchdown.
