Catalans had three players sin-binned as Warrington made it three wins out of four this season with a 38-18 victory.

Jason Croker, John Wilson and Remi Casty were all yellow-carded to wreck their chances of a shock win.

Warrington welcomed back Stuart Reardon for his first match of the season after shoulder surgery but Matt King and long-term casualty Chris Bridge were missing.

Catalans, after successive defeats by Hull KR and Leeds, were without ex-Brisbane Broncos Casey McGuire and Dane Carlaw with Olivier Elima and Mathieu Griffi injured.

Adam Mogg and Thomas Bosc faced a formidable test at half-back against Lee Briers and Michael Monaghan.

And the Warrington duo combined smartly to fire their side ahead after 10 minutes with man-of-the-match Monaghan bursting onto a pass from Briers who tagged on the conversion.

Then Louis Anderson fed older brother Vinnie to make it 10-0 with Warrington in control.

But Catalans hit back with two tries in three minutes with veteran Aussie Croker the provider both times for Clint Greenshields and Sebastien Raguin to go over with Bosc converting both to edge their side ahead 12-10.

Croker blotted his copybook just before the break when he was sin-binned for holding down with Warrington taking advantage for new Aussie winger Chris Hicks to power over from dummy half after Martin Gleeson was held short. Briers' conversion attempt hit the post.

Warrington were rocked when substitute Paul Wood, making his comeback after a shoulder operation, appeared to suffer a recurrence of the problem.

Catalans also lost Bosc for treatment following a heavy tackle by Vinnie Anderson before Briers and Martin Gleeson combined for Jon Clarke to scoot over and make it 20-12.

Wilson was the second Catalans player to be yellow-carded in the 57th minute and again the Wolves responded positively with Paul Johnson adding a fifth try.

Casty followed to the sin-bin for holding down Kevin Penny after a scorching break by the winger with Catalans down to 11 men.

Hicks added his second try before Justin Murphy went over for battling Catalans. Andy Bracek added Warrington's seventh try in stoppage time.
