Super Leaguers Wakefield overcame a spirited challenge from derby rivals Featherstone to achieve their fourth successive pre-season victory.
The Wildcats, fielding 10 of their first-team squad, made their class tell as they recovered from 10-4 down midway through the first half.
Sam Obst and Luke George each grabbed two tries. Kevin Henderson, Jason Demetriou and Aaron Murphy were Wakefield's other try scorers and Scott Grix kicked five goals.
Tommy Haughey collected two first-half tries for newly-promoted National League One outfit Featherstone who lost ex-Wakefield scrum-half Paul Handforth with a leg injury after 13 minutes.
Joe McLocklan, Waine Pryce and Andy Kirk were Featherstone's other try scorers. Stuart Dickens and McLocklan each kicked two goals.
