Hull KR are staring relegation in the face following their 11-try hammering at the hands of a rampant Warrington outfit.

The Robins are now just one point ahead of Salford who have a game in hand.

Last week's form which saw the Robins win in France was left in Perpignan as Rovers put up a dismal defensive show in the first half.

There was still no room for Paul Cooke as coach Justin Morgan stood by the side which did so well last week.

Stuart Reardon opened the scoring for the visitors with a try in the corner in the third minute and Lee Briers converted.

But with quarter of an hour gone, Ben Cockayne created an opening for Ian Hardman to put Rovers on the scoreboard, Mark Lennon's conversion attempt fading just wide.

But five tries in 23 minutes by Warrington had Rovers reeling as Adrian Morley strolled in on 17 minutes, Martin Gleeson took advantage of some slack tackling with 26 minutes gone.

And before the break Jon Clarke, Lee Briers and Chris Bridge had piled further misery on Rovers with Briers adding three conversions to see the Wolves 32-4 ahead at the break.

The second half started in similar fashion as it took Reardon less than a minute to cross in the right hand corner.

Briers was again on target with the conversion.

Rovers gave their fans something to cheer about on 47 minutes when Cockayne made a break from deep inside his own half.

Luke Dyer took the ball up well and, when he was tackled, Ben Fisher scooted home with Lennon converting.

Rovers were caught offside on 57 minutes and, from the ensuing penalty, Briers crossed for an unconverted try and completed his hat-trick on 63 minutes when he touched down his own kick ahead. He also added the extra two points.

Gareth Morton put Makali Aizue over for an unconverted consolation try with nine minutes to go only to see Henry Fa'afili touchdown at the other end and Briers land his seventh goal.

And, with three minutes to go, Jon Clarke strolled home with Briers adding the extras.

Rovers had the last word with a try from Gareth Morton at the death and Lennon converting.
