Scotland reached the rugbyleague.com European Cup final after mastering atrocious conditions at Old Anniesland in Glasgow to beat Lebanon in their last pool one match.

Scottish forward Iain Morrison was sin-binned twice as New Zealand referee Leon Williamson handed out five yellow cards but the home side maintained their composure to run out comfortable winners.

Steve McCormack's men trailed 4-0 to a ninth-minute try from winger Josh Mansour but defended superbly in driving rain to keep their line intact for the next hour.

The home side took the lead despite being down to 11 men - with John Cox and Morrison on the sidelines - as Brendan Lindsey crossed and Mick Nanyn added the conversion and then a penalty.

James Nixon's converted try, after Richard Fletcher charged down Ndaira's kick, made it 14-4 at half-time and Kevin Henderson's score made the game safe.

The visitors gained some consolation when substitute Nick Kassis scored a second try seven minutes from the end and Ndaira kicked the conversion.
