Huddersfield coach Nathan Brown is hoping to help make history by being involved in Super League's first 'clubcall' this weekend.
The Rugby Football League are staging a live televised press conference at Headingley on Sunday at which defending champions Leeds will announce their opponents for the play-off semi-finals.
Leeds, who earned the right to choose after finishing top of the table at the end of the regular season and winning their qualifying play-off, will select the winners of Friday's tie between Huddersfield and Catalans Dragons or Hull KR's sudden-death clash with Wigan on Saturday.
The coaches of both the Rhinos' potential opponents will attend the press conference to give their reaction and Brown is hoping to be present.
"Everyone wants to be playing next week and see if Leeds are going to pick them," he told a press conference at the Galpharm Stadium on Tuesday.
"We all want to be part of clubcall, that's for sure. It's definitely different, something I've never seen before.
"It's going to be interesting. Leeds will think it's great if they pick someone and beat them but, if they get beat, they won't think it's so good."
The team not chosen by the Rhinos will face a trip to St Helens, who earned a home tie after beating Huddersfield in the qualifying play-off last Saturday.
Forwards Scott Moore, Keith Mason and David Faiumu and centre Jamahl Lolesi, who all missed that 15-2 defeat, will be back to face the Dragons.
Faiumu and Lolesi have recovered from injury while Moore and Mason have served two-match bans imposed by the club for missing a training session that followed a night out in London with film star Mickey Rourke.
The pair have since apologised to both Brown and their team-mates for their actions and the coach is ready to forgive and forget.
"They've trained really well," he said. "They've been playing well all year."
Back-row forward Stephen Wild has shaken off a knee injury sustained at St Helens but the Giants will be without front-row forward Larne Patrick, who has an ankle injury and has also gone down with flu.
