Huddersfield will hope to avoid falling into the same trap as fellow Challenge Cup finalists Warrington as they return to Super League business.
Warrington went down 36-16 to Wigan in their first outing since securing a place at Wembley.
The Giants, however, have more room for error than the mid-table Wolves and already seem well on course for a top-four finish as they host struggling Bradford.
Giants forward Eorl Crabtree said: "We have got to step up again and get back to some of the emotion of last week to get another victory.
"Bradford will probably think they have got an opportunity to put one over us - and if we don't treat things right or go about it the right way, they probably will.
"But we have a good set of lads, and I'm sure we'll be right.
"It is one game at a time for us. Bradford is next, so we look forward to that first.
"It is going to be another tough game. They are still wanting to put things right, because they have not been going too well."
With just eight points to play for and five points to make up, the Bulls will need to win at the Galpharm Stadium to keep any lingering play-off hopes alive.
