Harlequins centre Tony Clubb has been charged with making a 'head-slam tackle' on St Helens half-back Kyle Eastmond during Saturday's Super League clash at The Stoop.
The incident to which the charge relates took place in the 46th minute of the game which Saints won 44-24.
The offence is rated as Grade C and if found guilty by the RFL's disciplinary committee, Clubb faces a suspension of up to four matches.
Clubb has also received a warning letter over his future conduct following a 31st-minute grapple tackle in the same match.
Following this weekend's round of games, Salford's Ian Sibbit has been charged with making ahigh tackle on Warrington's Brian Carney and Castleford's Ryan Clayton has been charged with a trip on Wakefield's Sam Obst.
The three players have been referred to Tuesday's meeting of the RFL disciplinary committee.
