Warrington's England forward Ben Westwood knows he is in for a far tougher time from the Catalans Dragons in tonight's ground-breaking game in Barcelona than he got from the French national side in Paris.
Six members of the France team hammered 66-12 by Tony Smith's side in Paris will be aiming for retribution against his club team in the first Super League match to be staged in Spain.
Four members of Bobbie Goulding's national 17 cannot get into the Dragons squad, which is bolstered by the return from injury of four regulars who missed the win over champions Leeds a fortnight ago and pack stars Olivier Elima and David Ferriol who sat out the mid-season international.
"I think what happened against England will be at the back of the French players' minds," said Westwood.
"The Catalans are a tough team, big and strong, and I think a bit more skilful than France were. It will be a big test for our forwards this week."
A change of venue - to test support for rugby league in the Spanish region of Catalonia - has at least spared Warrington the prospect of re-living the nightmare of their most recent visit to Perpignan.
The Wolves crashed to a 46-8 defeat at the Stade Gilbert Brutus in the first round of the play-offs in September.
"I suppose it's nice to be going to Barcelona," added Westwood. "It's a new experience for everybody.
"What happened last year in Perpignan is there at the back of our minds but we've just got to concentrate on this week and this season and get back on track after a disappointing defeat by Bradford."
Leeds coach Brian McClennan has identified Australian hooker Chad Randall as the main danger to his side in tonight's tricky fixture with Harlequins at the Twickenham Stoop.
Randall, who will make his 98th consecutive appearance for the Londoners, was a tryscorer in their shock 21-4 win at Headingley in April and was also on the mark on his 100th appearance for the club in last week's 40-10 win at Hull KR.
"Chad Randall is a quality player who gives very good service to his team out of dummy-half," said McClennan.
"He has a high workrate in the middle zone and the team play off the back of him. He gets them rolling forward and he is very smart and someone we will really need to keep an eye on on Saturday night.
"But they have quality throughout their side as well with guys like Danny Orr and Rob Purdham plus Ben Kaye, Luke Gale and Danny Ward, who have connections to the Rhinos and who I am sure will be up for a big game against their old team-mates."
In tonight's other game, Hull KR will be looking to end a three-match losing run when they take on bottom club Celtic Crusaders at the Brewery Field.
The Crusaders' camp is said to be buzzing following last Saturday's home win over Wigan - their first at home in Super League - but coach John Dixon is wary of the high-flying Robins, especially after losing twice to them already this year.
"Hull KR are one of the form teams in the comp," said Dixon. "Certainly they started the season very well. We're expecting a stern test again this week."
