Huddersfield fear new signing Liam Fulton could be out for six weeks after suffering a knee injury in his side's victory at Hull KR on Monday.
The former Wests Tigers second rower or stand-off was making only his second appearance for the Giants following his tryscoring debut against Celtic Crusaders on Good Friday.
The 24-year-old was due to be sent for a scan today to assess the full extent of the damage.
Coach Nathan Brown said: "He's no good. He's done a medial, I'm not sure how bad but they're saying six weeks or so.
"It's brief start for him. He won't be playing for a while.
"It's unfortunate, that's for sure, but there's not much we can do about it."
