Harlequins will have new signings Danny Ward, Dwayne Barker and David Howell in action in Tuesday's historic friendly against the London Skolars.
The annual pre-season derby will be the first rugby league match to take place in the 'Square Mile', the financial heartbeat of the capital and will be held at Artillery Gardens, near Moorgate, to coincide with an investor day involving leading city companies.
Quins' other major close-season recruit, former Salford prop Gareth Haggerty, is still recovering from a shoulder injury while another absentee is full-back Chris Melling, who has had a recurrence of the groin injury he suffered making his debut for Great Britain last June.
Coach Brian McDermott will give run-outs to Lamont Bryan and Will Sharp, who have been promoted from the club's academy, and four other juniors - Rob Thomas, Dylan Skee, Dave Williams and Jack Graves.
"The boys were outstanding last year for the academy sides," said McDermott.
"They have been doing some training with the first team and have been very, very good. I want to see if they can replicate that in a game."
