St Helens secured a fifth engage Super League title with a dominant second-half display in Saturday night's Grand Final at Old Trafford.
Saints had edged Hull just 10-4 after a tight first half but tries from Willie Talau, Ade Gardner and Keiron Cunningham sealed victory in front of a record crowd of 72,582.
Leon Pryce had crucially put Saints ahead late in the first half with Francis Meli claiming their other try.
Saints full-back Paul Wellens capped a memorable week after being named Man of Steel by claiming the Harry Sunderland Trophy as man of the match.
Saints actually made little headway in the early stages but that changed in the 16th minute as Sean Long floated a superb kick to the corner and Meli slid in to score.

They then took a firm grip with two tries early in the second half.
The first came after Graeme Horne surrendered possession and Saints clinically swept the ball along the line for Talau to score.
Gardner then claimed a brilliant fourth try for his side when he took Long's high kick in mid-air at the second attempt and managed to touch down.
Lyon converted the second to put Saints 20-4 ahead an in sight of a fourth Grand Final victory.
Hull needed to respond quickly and almost got back into the game as Radford broke through - but both Richard Horne and Raynor were stopped short.
Saints hooker Keiron Cunningham, who had needed a fitness test before the game after struggling with a bug this week, put the game beyond reach with his side's fifth try just after the hour.
Running from dummy half, the Welshman exchanged passes with Maurie Fa'asavalu close to the line and then dived over in characteristic fashion.
Hull had little else to offer and Saints coolly managed to run the clock down to claim their first title in four years.
