Widnes pair Mark Smith and Simon Finnigan have both agreed new contracts with
the engage Super League club.
Hooker Smith, 23, who joined the club from Wigan last year, has committed
himself to the Vikings until the end of 2008.
Former Penrith loose forward or half-back Finnigan, who is also 23 and joined
the club two years ago, has signed for another season.
Vikings coach Frank Endacott said: "They are two of the new breed of young
professional players that we need at this club.
"They both have great attitudes and work ethics and will continue to improve
for some years yet. I am delighted the have re-signed."
