FIXED ODDS
1pt Michael Monaghan to win Lance Todd at 10/1 (betfred). In great form and real threat at hooker.
0.5pt David Faiumu to win Lance Todd at 28/1 (totesport) Likely to catch eye in Huddersfield win.
1pt Chris Hicks to score first try at 12/1 (general) Prolific scorer for the Wolves.
2pts Kevin Brown to score anytime at 2/1 (general) Good support player who takes on the defence.

Huddersfield v Warrington (+2)

You can find reasons to back either side in Saturday's Carnegie Challenge Cup final.

Huddersfield's form going into Wembley has been outstanding and their defence is just about the strongest in Super League right now.

Warrington have some experienced guys in the right areas of the field in the likes of Adran Morley and Lee Briers.

Neither side contains many players who've been to a Challenge Cup final before, despite the fact Huddersfield were there three years ago, and big-match experience is always vital.

The key man for me is Michael Monaghan who is playing in his best position now - which is hooker. Composure around the rucks is always a key factor in big games and he will bring that to the Wolves side.

A smart mind at number nine can expose tiring defences while Briers will see this game as the perfect opportunity to showcase his wide-range of attacking sklills.

Expect Morley to have a massive game while Eorl Crabtree will be among the Huddersfield forwards looking to match fire with fire.

There's not much in this but I'm siding with Warrington with a small start.

As for the Lance Todd Trophy, I have to go for Monaghan. The award often goes to a half-back or hooker as they have the ball in hand for longer and have more chances to impress.

Monaghan is a real handful for opponents and creates and scores tries. He has every chance of catching the eye at Wembley.

If Huddersfield win then their hooker David Faiumu will need to have a big game and could be worth a saver.

For first try-scorer I like Chris Hicks and Kevin Brown. Hicks is a prolific ponts-scorer and has the good knack of getting over the whitewash.

Brown takes on the opponent's defence a lot and is also a good support player. He is often there on the inside to take the final pass.
