3pt double Catalans (+6) to beat Leeds and Bradford (-16) to beat Wakefield both at 10/11 (Sky Bet). |
Both play opponents with huge Challenge Cup clashes on their minds. |
Hull v Hull KR (+4)
I am pretty keen on the visitors here.
Michael Dobson was outstanding last week and history shows that when he has a good game he tends to back it up with another one.
He will have a good duel with James Webster and that should be intriguing.
Hull KR's pack last week look revitalised and I think that along with the Challenge Cup semi-final distraction for Hull, I am going to go with the away side on the back of the Dobson kicking game and some more motivation from Stanley Gene.
Bradford v Wakefield (+16)
The ouststanding young player for the Bulls Sam Burgess may be a doubt for the game but I feel they can win and cover the start if reproducing their form from last week.
Wakefield have lost three in a row and they are another team who will be focused on next week's last four of the Challenge Cup, which will make or break their season.
Bradford have their half-back Paul Deacon to come in this week and he gives them a lot of stability and a better kicking game - I am keen on them for the victory.
Harlequins v Castleford (+8)
Harlequins have an amazing five players out through suspension after last week's game against Les Catalans.
Castleford are really ordinary at the moment and were hammered by Saints last week but if they are ever going to beat Harlequins this would be the chance with those five players out.
I will take the visitors on the handicap but with no great confidence as both teams are pretty poor.
