Bath's Fiji-born British Army tank driver could not recover from knee trouble to face Ireland Wolfhounds at Kingsholm last weekend.

The 26-year-old Lance Corporal in the Royal Scots Dragoon Guards is expected to train on Thursday to confirm his fitness.

Saxons head coach Jon Callard has selected Rokoduguni on the right wing for the Glasgow trip, with club-mate Kyle Eastmond starting at inside centre.

Gloucester scrum-half Dan Robson makes his first Saxons start, alongside club colleague Freddie Burns at fly-half.

Leicester wing Adam Thompstone also slots in the backline, with RFU head of international player development Joe Lydon tipping a host of the young talent on show for regular full England honours in future.

"We have an exciting young squad of real potential," said Lydon.

"We are under no illusion how tough it will be for us.

"This squad has an average age of 24 and our aim is to continue working with them in a long-term programme in developing players capable of achieving success at senior international level at the World Cups in 2015, 2019 and beyond."

Gloucester lock Elliott Stooke makes his first Saxons start after his debut off the bench in last week's 14-8 Wolfhounds defeat.

Cherry and Whites prop Yann Thomas and Sale flanker Tom Brady will travel to Scotland as squad cover.
