  • Replacement lock Adam Wallace-Harrison powers through the middle. The Waratahs attempt to turn him over, but Palu is pinged for playing the ball off his feet. Cooper bangs the ball into touch, and the ref blows for full-time. So the Reds bounce back with a win, while the Waratahs leave Brisbane empty-handed.

  • Time ticking away from the 'Tahs who can't get their hands on the ball. Reds on the attack again - they want the bonus-point try...

  • Harris misses the conversion, but the Reds have some breathing space. 25-17!

  • TRY, REDS. The game is hanging on a knife's edge, but a magnificent break from Ed Quirk sees the Reds flanker beat several defenders before he's eventually hauled down inches short of the line. But not before popping a pass to the supporting Tapuai who dots down for his second try of the match!

  • Now the Waratahs look to hit back as we enter the last 10 minutes of this clash. Volavola gets them as far as half-way... he's got better and better as the match wears on. Where's the support though? Finally it arrives, but the Reds are awarded yet another penalty as Cheika shakes his head in the coaches box.

  • PENALTY, REDS. Trouble for the visitors now, after the ref awards a penalty to the home side which brings a massive roar from the 33,000-odd crowd. It's on half-way, but Harris is going to have a go. He has the direction... and the distance! Over! Reds back in front. What a kick... 20-17

  • The Waratahs pack huff and puff and push the Reds back at scrum-time, but Foley clearance kick slides off his boot. So the 'Tahs aren't out of the woods just yet.

  • The Reds piling on all the pressure now as they set up camp inside the Waratahs' 22. The visitors will be careful of not giving away any penalties. But the Reds are their own worst enemy after Faingaa first spills the ball... but the ref signals it went backwards, but Cooper knocks it forward as he tried to regather.

  • CONVERSION, WARATAHS. Tough conversion from far out to level the scores, but Foley makes no mistake. Over it goes - scores level! Who would've thought?!?! 17-17!

  • TRY, WARATAHS. Play taking place on half-way now. The Waratahs in possesion, and Foley spreads it left to Volavola who steps out of a tackle and turns on the gas. He has two Reds defenders chasing him, but they won't catch him as the super sub races 40m to score a crucial try!

  • Waratahs coach Michael Cheika sends on some more fresh legs: on goes John Ulugia, Benn Robinson and Paddy Ryan, of goes Sekope Kepu, Tatafu Polota-Nau and Jeremy Tilse.

  • The Waratahs building some momentum as they work their way inside Reds territory. 11 phases now, but poor handling lets them down 15m out from Queensland's chalk - Volavola unable to hold on.

  • The two packs engage, but the Reds forwards are blown up after the scrum collapses. The second row slipped... so the Waratahs breath a sigh of relief as Foley clears.

  • Volavola forced to get involve straight away on defence as the Reds attack the Waratahs try-line. A sneaky grubber from Cooper is spilled forward by Volavola - handing the Reds an attacking 5m scrum.

  • Trouble for the 'Tahs though as an injured Ashley-Cooper makes his way off the field. He's replaced by Ben Volavola.

  • CONVERSION, WARATAHS. Foley has taken over the goal-kicking and nails the conversion! The Waratahs right back in the game now. 17-10

  • TRY, WARATAHS. The 'Tahs make their way towards the Reds' 22. Tom Kingston's pass bounces off Ioane and lands into the hands of Foley who finds space, draw his man and puts Folau over for his first try in Super Rugby!

  • So play continues and the Waratahs are now pinged on the deck - to make matters worse, it's in kickable distance for Harris, who hasn't missed. Until now! The full-back pushes his attempt wide..

  • Welcome back as the Reds get the second half under way. Wycliff Palu takes it in, but gets hit hard by James Slipper who stays down after that tackle.

    Second half
  • The Reds are targeting Super Rugby rookie Israle Folau, who hasn't had the best of starts in the Waratahs jersey - poor defence led to the Reds first try, and now he's coughed up the ball.
