  • Italy were tenacious, dominating the second half and probably didn't deserve to lose this match. Apart from a bright 20 minutes, the Wallabies were largely awful and deserved nothing from this match. Thanks for joining us!

  • Ioane will spend the rest of the game in the bin after the infringement.

  • Australia seems to have weathered the storm somewhat and have won and attacking line-out just outside the Italy 22. They win the ball comfortably and keep it in the forwards, but Italy have won the turn-over! They go for the deep kick and receive it back with another kick. Italy win a penalty after Ioane takes down Favaro in the air with a dangerous tackle.

  • It has been all Italy in the second half so far - can they secure a famous victory over the two-two-time World Cup champions? 10 Minutes to go...

  • Higginbotham coems off for Australia, with Dave Dennis coming on. Italy make another change too - Zanni coming off for Vosawa.

  • The secure the ball and keep it tight in the forwards again before Orquero makes some ground, bursting through a gap. They cant build on the momentum though and are forced back to the half-way line. Another Italy scrum on the half-way line after the Australians slow it down in the tackle.

  • Sloppy from Australia and Italy pounce on the loose ball, punting it deep into Wallaby territory once more. They run it forward but are blown up when Beale holds on in the tackle. Italy go for touch and will have an attacking line-out in the Wallaby half.

  • Italy boot it downfield where yet another handling mistake almost puts the Wallabies under pressure, but Barnes hoofs it long. Italy put it out and another line-out for the visitors on the opposing 10m line. Some reinforcements for Italy coming on - Ghiraldini and Geldenhuys off for Giazzon and Pavanello.
