Kevin Brown has ankle surgery
Widnes' new signing Kevin Brown has undergone ankle surgery after picking up an injury during pre-season training.

The Vikings say the former Wigan and Huddersfield stand-off's injury was not to the ankle he has damaged previously and describe the operation as "a routine surgical repair".
"It is anticipated that Kevin Brown will be available for the start of Super League 2013," said a club spokesman.
