Isa hit by two-match ban

Widnes forward Willie Isa has been suspended for three matches for two dangerous tackles during his side's 28-6 Challenge Cup semi-final defeat by Castleford on Sunday.

Isa was given a two-match ban after admitting a grade B charge of making dangerous contact on Castleford winger Kirk Dixon.

He was also found guilty of a dangerous tackle on Tigers prop Andy Lynch for which he was suspended for one game.

Isa, who appeared in front of a disciplinary panel at Rugby Football League headquarters in Leeds, was also given a £300 fine and will start his ban when the Vikings visit Huddersfield in Super League on Sunday.
