Catalan coach a fan of Carney
Catalan Dragons have confirmed an interest in bringing controversial Australian Todd Carney to Super League.

The 28-year-old Cronulla stand-off, who was international player of the year in 2010, was sacked by his club after lewd photographs of him appeared on social media.
The Perpignan club helped resurrect the career of another disgraced Australian, Greg Bird, in 2009 and coach Laurent Frayssinous has suggested they could now throw Carney a career lifeline.
"I suppose a lot of Super League teams will chase Todd Carney," Frayssinous said. "What I can tell you as a coach is everyone would love to have such a quality player.
"He's one of the best stand-offs in the world and I'm pretty sure we can use the relationship his manager has with Super League clubs.
"It's not an objective at the moment. We'll take the option to talk to Todd Carney when the right time arises."
Huddersfield actually signed Carney in 2008, but the move collapsed when the player was refused a visa.
