Ian Millward previews this weekend's Super League and NRL action and he likes the look of Manly, Warrington and Leeds.

Danny McGuire's return is significant for Leeds

3pt treble Manly (scr), Warrington (-8) and Leeds (-12) at 6.3/1 (Blue Square, 888sport).

    Warrington v St Helens (+8)

The Wolves are my pick to win the title and I believe they need to win this for that to be the case. We'll see how good a team they are because up to 12 months ago they would never beat St Helens. Now it's different, home ground is a big advantage and the loss of Michael Shenton against the team who throw the ball around will hurt St Helens defensively. Warrington to win and cover.

    Leeds v Wakefield (+14)

Leeds have been scratchy of late while Wakefield have won seven in a row. Their two encounters this year saw Wakefield win at their home ground and then only suffer a two-point loss away to Leeds - in which I felt they were the better team. The return of Danny McGuire is significant here and I wonder if the Wakefield run has come to an end as their last two performances have not been of the same quality as the previous five. I'm with Leeds to explode at home, win and cover.

    Hull v Huddersfield (+6)

I fancied Huddersfield after their performance last week but the stats show that only one team has gone to the KC Stadium and won this year so their home record is of the highest quality. I'm going with the home side as the return of Mark O'Mely last week added a lot of punch to their team and he can play a key role down the middle.
